New Tab Workspace & Web Clipper
Your distraction-free visual workspace.
Transform your new tab into a fixed whiteboard. Organize your thoughts, clip web pages, and embed media directly into your Thoughtogram canvas without losing focus.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does the free version include?
Instantly upon installation (no sign-up required), you get a fully functional Home Board. You have complete access to all clipping tools—right-click to save text highlights or links, embed YouTube videos, and stack cards. Everything loads instantly inside your new tab.
Q: What do subscribers get?
While the core clipping and Home Board are completely free, Thoughtogram Pro ($5/month) unlocks the ability to create unlimited boards. Subscribers can seamlessly link boards together to build a customized, spatial network of ideas.
Q: I have another "New Tab" extension. Will they conflict?
Yes. Chrome only allows one extension to control the New Tab page. If you want to use Thoughtogram's visual workspace, you will need to disable other new tab extensions in your browser's extension manager.
Screenshot Tool
Capture high-quality images of your mindmaps instantly.
The Screenshot Tool is an optional companion extension designed exclusively for thoughtogram.com to help you share your visual boards without the clutter of browser bars or UI elements.
Key Features
- One-Click Capture: Snap your entire visible board instantly.
- Smart Actions: Download as JPG or Copy directly to Clipboard.
- Privacy Focused: Images are processed locally on your device.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is the "Capture" button grayed out?
The extension is designed to work only on active Thoughtogram boards. If you are on a different website or the dashboard, the tool will disable itself to prevent errors. Please navigate to one of your boards to use it.
Q: Where are my downloaded images saved?
Images are saved to your computer's default "Downloads" folder. The filename will include the date and time (e.g., thoughtogram-mindmap-2025...jpg).
