Thoughtogram
Thoughtogram is a thinking space made of fixed boards. A board is exactly one screen, so once it is open you have seen all of it. Nothing off the edge, nothing to scroll to, nothing to zoom out for. Link any board to any other and they grow into a wiki shaped the way you think.

You always know you wrote it down. What you cannot remember is whether it went in a note, a tab, a folder or a doc. Infinite canvases make that worse rather than better: there is always more room, so nothing ever has to be decided, and after a few months you are navigating a landfill.
A fixed board makes you choose what belongs on it. Everything is visible at once, at the size you set, with no zooming, panning or pinching to find the thing you half remember. Cards move only when you move them.
And they behave like index cards. Carry a layout to a smaller screen and the ones that overhang the edge get moved in, the way you would if you moved the cards to a smaller desk. Nothing is hidden and nothing is lost.

Type a note, paste a link, drop in an image or a YouTube URL. Cards go where you put them and stay there.
One board fills one screen. Every card stays where you put it, at the size you chose, and the whole thing is readable at a glance.
Write a board name in square brackets and it becomes a link. Any board can link to any other, with no folders and no parent boards.
The day starts already laid out, instead of starting with a blank tab.

If Thoughtogram is ever discontinued you will get at least 90 days notice and a
full export before anything is switched off.

I started building Thoughtogram because I wanted a better way to keep my thinking in one place. After more than a year of refining it, I use it every day for research, planning and capturing things I read on the web.
